Wow, so much to catch up on. I finally have access back to get photos off my camera for the blog.

For Thanksgiving, Michael and I drove to Boise, ID to spend it with his sister Lori and her husband Kim. It was just the four of us for a nice, quiet day. We drove around Boise looking at huge houses being built where construction slowed greatly or downright stopped thanks to the economy. Same story round the country but it was very evident as we drove around. We even had time to go to the driving range with Lori.

Ok, posing as a different sport. Even though we're blonde, we knew! Didn't we Lori?

On our way home, we drove to Multnomah Falls in Oregon.

Then we had a nice weekend here at home. The calm before the storm. I never planted anything before in my life. So I started small by planting 5 dozen tulip bulbs in our front garden planter area. We should see one or two come up next Spring.

Then, last week the snow started.

And it kept snowing, and snowing, and snowing...

Tangie, the outdoor cat went for a walk with me.

Every step he took, his belly was getting colder and colder.

To remedy a cold cat belly, he decided it would be best to balance on the back of my neck and shoulders for the walk.
