Meanwhile, my husband had a birthday. Not just a birthday, but a big one - the big 50. While I was in event planning mode, I organized a surprise birthday party for him the following weekend. It was a surprise, show up when you want to after 3pm, BBQ. Again, Mother Nature and God provided us with exceptional weather!

Michael had friends there that he's known most his life, a motorcyle riding buddy, colleagues from previous jobs, neighbors and new friends. People just kept coming around the corner throughout the day. Dan, our neighbor gave Michael a shotsky. It was the hit of the party! Everyone was taking shots all afternoon and evening.

Michael was surprised! Yeah, another successful event.
